Tom Reeser – Crew Chief

Tom has always had an interest in automobiles. From the time he was a teenager, he was working in his fathers garage. In 1971, Tom and his family moved from Chicago, Illinois, back to Dayton, Ohio. This allowed Tom to join his father, Paul Reeser, working on the Paul’s Lakes sponsored Reeser Racing Team. Tom Moved into the crew chief roll, and in the late 70’s, he lead the team to 3 track championships, including a record 17 feature wins in 23 races in 1978. Tom has since worked on many cars for local racers, as well as cars on the ARCA and NASCAR Winston Cup Circuits.

Tom is currently in charge of getting the racecar set up prior to leaving for the track. At the track, he is in charge of the chassis changes and any repairs that need to be made during the course of the racing evening.

Bill Chambers – Crew Member/Driving Coach

Bill began driving racecars in the early 60’s in the Dayton, Ohio area. In the late 60’s, Bill began driving for Paul Reeser, owner of Paul’s Lake, and the Reeser Racing Team. During the 70’s, Bill piloted the Reeser Racing Team stock car to numerous feature wins. This included 3 track championships and a record 17 feature wins in 23 starts. During the 80’s, Bill continued driving for local car owners.

Bill now serves as Scott’s personal driving coach, pointing out strategies and techniques to use to increase speed in the racecar. He also assists at the track in any changes made to the racecar.

Denise Becker –Crew Member

Denise’s duties include timing and scoring during practice and the actual race as well as charting tire temperatures, pressures and other data taken after each session. Denise is also the team's official photographer.

Ben Newell – Crew Member

Ben helps in mechanical preparation of the racecar. At the track, he helps in preparing the racecar for each run, including checking lug nuts, radio communications, and pit layout. He also assists in body fabrication. At the track, Ben aids in data collection after each run.

Chuck Shade – Crew Member

Chuck assists in the garage with any fabrication or engine work that is needed. This includes making brackets, relocating roll bars, engine rebuilds, etc. He also assists in chassis design and set up prior to heading to the track. At the track, Chuck is in charge of the preparation of the racecar prior to each session.

Linda Reeser – Crew Member

Linda helps out the team by running errands for tooling and material. At the track, she prepares food and drinks for the team to keep their energy up.

Gary Freeman – Crew Member

Gary’s duties in the garage include general racecar preparation and assistance in chassis setup. At the track, he helps in preparing the racecar for each run. This includes setting tire pressure, adjusting the shocks, and topping off the gas tank prior to the run. During the run, Gary videotapes the action, allowing the team to review the events and learn from any miscues. After each session, Gary takes tire temperature, pressure and size data.

Madison Reeser – Crew Member

Madison, Scott's daughter, is helpful by doing whatever she can- wether it be recording tire pressure or simply handing her dad a socket wrench. She is also the official assistant photographer of the Reeser Racing Team.
